Samantha Kozuch

Hometown: Scottsdale, Arizona

Age: 30

Favorite Food: Sushi

Favorite Athlete or Fitness Inspiration:

There are so many people that inspire me! These are a few women that I've watched from the beginning of my career (and there's) and have watched them grow into big brands that they are today! They inspire me on the daily: Karena Dawn and Katrina Scott, Danielle Pascente and Lori Harder.

Other Hobbies:
I play beach volleyball with friends every weekend when I'm home, I love to read self-development books, finding new trails to hike, I also have an insane schedule so when I finally have some down time - I'm all about relaxing and binge watching episodes on Netflix/Hulu.

What’s your go-to pump up song at the gym?
I'm heavy into rap and hip-hop... but after seeing the DJ Oliver Holden's live a few weeks back, his music along with pre-workout has me killing my workouts lately.

What are three interesting facts about you?
I'm a citizen of 3 country's: Australia by birth, Poland (EU) by blood, and the USA by taking a test. I'm pretty fortunate to be able to have this.
Polish was my first language and I didn't start to learn English until I started going to school.
I love sports, but the one sport I still do not understand the game of football! Bring on basketball, all day - hand me a ball and I might just school you in a game of HORSE ;)

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
"Never stir with a knife, all you're going to do is stir up trouble" - my mother told me this when I was younger, it always stuck with me, and whenever I see anyone doing this I tell them the same.

What is one thing you’ve always wanted to try?
Skydiving - but I am way too scared to go do it! One day... just not today, or tomorrow or next week... but one day!

What is your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?
Waking up one day and deciding that I'm moving to Los Angeles. Taking that risk was the scariest and hardest thing that I've ever done. I was afraid to start all over and the fear of failure. I only had a few friends when I first moved here, which without them I'm not sure how I could've managed - but a year and a half later; it is hands down the best decision I've ever mad in my life! It changed everything in my life for me! I was able to be a fitness influencer as my primary job, I've been able to travel around the country and internationally for modeling bookings, I've appeared in numerous tv shows and commercials, I've been able to meet the most influential people and make a group of friends who are supportive and have similar goals and dreams as me, I became a Live Fit. Ambassador, I'm able to go from snowboarding in the mountains one day and then drive to be laying on the beach and getting a tan the next... there's nothing I would change about living in Santa Monica, it has been a blessing and I'm excited for each new day to see what it brings! So if you're looking at making a big decision or move - just do it! Life's way too short to hold back on your dreams!

If you could master one skill you don’t have right now, what would it be?
Surf! I haven't tried it yet even though I now live on the coast, but I'm dying to learn! Watching surfers just looks magical, and the experiences I hear of becoming one with the ocean and being out in nature like that is something I'm really wanting to experience for myself.
